I don't understand why some people refuse to make a living AND be socially responsible. Using the excuse it would be worse in Paris is childish. Look at Hollywood, who has not had something done. They are a minority. Most of them looked better before. Look at Pamela Anderson, she was a beautiful woman. Now she looks like a freak show. Man's world, huh? The guy came off very arrogant. I even linked the article to a male friend and he did not get it at all. He said "what's the big deal" in other words. He saw nothing wrong with it.
