It was said in jest, but after eight years of Bushisms, Bill would be a welcome relief. Although, if the people voted for him again after time off, I think he should be able to be the president. Only if the people vote for him.

Rachel: What? Er… no, nobody EVER ought to have that kind of ability as a governing official–even if he or she is an absolute saint and perfect ruler, which Bill Clinton ain’t. A setup allowing a president to choose how long s/he stays would just be begging for all KINDS of nastiness, and it frankly scares me any time I hear favorable talk, even in jest, for such a toxic idea.
