I agree Larissa. Our immune systems were designed to build through natural progression and simple childhood fevers, not to be bombarded with over 30 injections of thimerisol-laced viral matter by the age of 4. Vaccinations are the elephant in the room.

I think it is a shame that the powers that be wil not even consider the possibility that the intensity of our vaccination schedule may have something to do with increased immune system problems. I am a public health professional who appreciates what the implications would be if people stopped vaccinating completely but I think there hasn't been enough respect for children's developing immune systems and the damage that might be wrought by the overstimulation of our very rigorous vaccination schedule.

I work with a lot of public health people and they rarely use the anti-biotic stuff. They do talk about creating super bugs, etc.

And I have also heard of coal burning being a part of the rise in asthma. I think the Trib did a piece a few years ago focusing on Pilsen & Little Village.

I watched a documentary recently that attributed the rise in asthma in children to coal-burning power plants and the mercury that leaks into the air/water because of them. According to the documentary, the mercury affected the fetus during development and led to later instances of asthma and allergy problems.

If I remember or come across the information again, I'll follow up here.
