Thanks for this article. As a morbidly obese woman who has given birth naturally TWICE I am proof that you CAN do it! I was lucky, I suppose, that my OB didn't once suggest a c-section. In fact with my first child he didn't even suggest induction. He let baby and I progress naturally. I was induced with my second child due to pretty horrible blood pressure problems. However even that birth was very easy and vaginal!!

Thank You!Thank You!I left my new OB's office yesterday upset and crying after my 2nd visit with him he informs me he's scheduling my c-section solely based on my weight "its just better he says" I do not suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes and all my blood work is normal.I had a c-section before I would not wish that on anyone. My labor was progressing fine til I I arrived at the hospital then it went down hill from there. my recovery was horrible .I will not just volunteer for that again.Thank You again your article made me feel...NOT ALONE
