What a wonderful, encouraging small victory. The "home-like" birth centers in my area have all already closed their doors, so by the time my second baby came, I had the choice of a hospital (all of which have alarmingly high c-section and intervention rates) or a homebirth. I always thought homebirth wasn't for me, so I longed for something in between. The choice to have choices during labor won out, and I opted for a homebirth (and would do it again in a minute if I weren't done having babies LOL), but I still regret the limited options.

One small victory at a time, and women's healthcare advocates can eventually win this war.
