Kudos to Judy for hosting the menopaus listserve. It has an invaluable amount of information garnered from everywhere and put into 1 place. The list of 35 meno symptoms really was helpful for me. It validated what I was experiencing and make me see that I was not alone in my journey. The site and the wonderful women on it have been so helpful over the yrs. Judy is the driving force behind the list and I am very grateful that she freely gives of her time and expertise to make it all happen. She is definitely an A-1 candidate for this honor!

Judy is a beautiful, caring person who has dedicated a great deal of herself and her time to helping others. I feel privileged to know her and to have worked with her. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor!

The Menopaus Listserv was my lifeline at the end of the 90′s. Having read the original Our Bodies Ourselves as a young woman, voting for Judy’s Menopaus Listserv is right fitting. A cycle was completed through understanding with women from all walks going through the same thing and helping each other along the way. Judy’s list made it possible.

Judy got me thru a rocky menopause way back when! I met some wonderful women who were members of her listserv. I am still friends with them. Without Judy, I really don’t think I would have come thru menopause as well as I did. Thank you Judy!!!!

An excellent nominee for Women’s Health Hero. Seen with today’s eyes on news, it might be difficult to believe how rare the mention of menopause was back in the early 90s. The ’35 Symptoms of Menopause’ so easily found on the net today is the direct result of the early collaborative work of the women of the menopaus mailing list, and that mailing list is the direct result of the work of one woman – Judy Bayliss. It isn’t too much of a stretch to state that every mention of menopause today (on the net and in the news) could easily fall within Six Degrees of Judy Bayliss.

This listserv saved my life when I started into menopause. Judy was an inspiration. She has helped many thousands of women thru the sometimes difficult transition.
